FUN BILINGUAL STORYBOOK WITH EYE-CATCHING ILLUSTRATIONS

La Famille Jolineau en vacances is a bilingual storybook for children starting to learn French in primary school, aged six years and over.

It offers children an opportunity to explore all aspects of learning French in a fun way.

The colourful, eye-catching illustrations create a relaxed environment making the learning experience even more enjoyable.

With La Famille Jolineau en vacances, children will steadily develop their curiosity and confidence with the French language.

The book has a relaxed approach that will put children at ease with learning French. Our key objective was to make this experience easy, enjoyable and simply quite natural.

All aspects of learning French are explored in a fun way: reading alone or with some assistance; speaking when answering our ladybird Isabelle’s questions; listening if somebody else is doing the reading and finally writing through the games at the back of the book.

Days of the week in French: a PowerPoint presentation

A fun way of teaching days of the week in French is to make a connection between each day and the planet it is based on, for example Mars/mardi. Technically the moon ( la Lune) is not a planet but a similar connection can be made! I hope you will find my PowerPoint presentation helpful!   DAYS OF WEEK.
